FAQs

What treatment is right for my vehicle?

After conducting a preliminary assessment of your vehicle's condition, we will recommend the most appropriate treatment. This recommendation is based on the extent of corrosion and the vehicle's intended use. For instance, vehicles utilized off-road, on farms, or parked in coastal areas will require a more comprehensive treatment and regular reapplication. In contrast, a new or exceptionally clean vehicle can undergo a more durable treatment aimed at preventing corrosion from developing rather than addressing existing corrosion issues.

How long will the treatment last?

Typically, a treatment can safeguard your vehicle for 2-3 years under standard road conditions. We suggest conducting annual checks and replenishing as needed. Certain treatments may last longer than others, and if the vehicle is utilized off-road or exposed to severe conditions, more frequent inspections and reapplications will be necessary.

What treatments are available?

We use products from Waxoyl, Lanoguard, Schutz, Raptor, Stonechip, Bilt Hamber, and Buzzweld. Each product presents its own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice of application is determined by the vehicle's condition. We often employ multiple products for various areas of the same vehicle. If there is a different product you wish to apply, please inform us, and we will discuss its cost and compatibility with your vehicle.

Welding and corrosion removal

With our roots in the world of Land Rover, we're no strangers to corrosion! We are happy to perform small welding repairs on most vehicles prior to treatment if required, however more extensive jobs on heavily corroded vehicles will likely need taking away for repairs before we can complete the treatment. We always start with an initial inspection, during which we identify any corrosion that requires welding and will discuss repair options with you at that time.

Vehicle restoration

At present, we do not provide vehicle restoration services. However, if you're inquiring about a Jaguar or Land Rover product, our sister company, Terrain Vehicles, specializes in JLR vehicles and can assist you with your request.

How long will you need my vehicle?

Our standard treatment usually takes two days to complete. For vehicles needing additional treatment or repairs, please reach out through the "Quick Estimate" form or contact us directly. If you wish to reserve a courtesy car, please do so in advance; a £20.00 fee applies to cover insurance costs.
